Vancouver Indian Community Collective is inviting the whole community to stand together in a peaceful protest taking place this weekend at Vancouver Arts Gallery Square to show the solidarity with the victims & their families.
The organizers are requesting the Indians in Vancouver to come and show we care and share about it on social media using the hashtag #VancouverStandsWithIndia
On April 22, 2025, a peaceful day in the beautiful valley of Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, was turned into a scene of horror as terrorists launched a brutal and senseless attack on innocent tourists. At least 26 lives were lost, including Indian nationals and international visitors, with many more injured. This cowardly act has shaken the entire nation and the global Indian diaspora.
In response to this devastating tragedy, Vancouver Indian Community is coming together in solidarity to host a peaceful protest in memory of the victims. This event is a show of unity, resilience, and an unequivocal stand against terrorism.
