One of British Columbia’s biggest celebrations of Indian culture is coming to Surrey this summer! India Day Celebration promises a vibrant day filled with music, dance, food, and community spirit as thousands of people gather to celebrate India’s rich heritage and multicultural values.
Hosted by the United Indian Culture Association (UNICA), the event will bring together cultural organizations, community groups, artists, local businesses, and families from across Metro Vancouver. Visitors can enjoy colourful cultural performances, traditional folk dances, live entertainment, delicious Indian cuisine, and a variety of community and business exhibits throughout the day.

A major highlight of the celebration is the India Day Parade, where participants proudly represent different regions and cultures of India through traditional attire, music, and performances. The festival reflects the incredible diversity of the Indian community while promoting unity, friendship, and cultural appreciation.
Whether you’re looking to experience authentic Indian traditions, support local community organizations, enjoy great food, or spend quality time with family and friends, India Day Celebration offers something for everyone. Admission is free, making it one of the most accessible and family-friendly cultural events of the year.
Mark your calendar and join the festivities at this Free Event on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Cloverdale Bill Reid Amphitheatre Park, Surrey, BC.
ATI Vancouver is proud to share this community celebration and encourages everyone to come together to celebrate India’s culture, heritage, and the vibrant multicultural spirit of British Columbia.
