A new musical trend that blends spirituality with social connection is gaining popularity across cities in India and around the world – Bhajan Clubbing. The concept brings devotional music into a modern, vibrant setting where people gather to sing, chant, and celebrate spiritual music together.
Now, this growing trend is making its way to Metro Vancouver, with several upcoming events giving the local community an opportunity to experience devotional music in different formats.
Bhajan Clubbing Events Coming to Metro Vancouver
Two Bhajan Clubbing events are scheduled this March where devotional music will be presented in a lively and engaging format.
March 20 – Bhajan Clubbing in Burnaby

The first event will take place in Burnaby presented by The 2Cents Care Foundation, bringing together community members who enjoy devotional music in an energetic group setting. Bhajan Clubbing events often combine traditional bhajans with contemporary musical arrangements, creating a vibrant atmosphere for participants. Buy Tickets for this event online.
March 22 – Bhajan Clubbing in Surrey/Delta

Just two days later, another Bhajan Clubbing gathering in Surrey/Delta presented by Happyness Wellness Society will continue the celebration for the Indian Diaspora in Fraser Valley and across. These events are becoming popular among younger audiences as well, as they offer a fresh way to experience devotional music while building community connections. Buy Tickets for this event online.
May 23 – A Pure Devotional Evening in Burnaby

While Bhajan Clubbing introduces a modern twist to devotional gatherings, another special event coming later this spring will focus on traditional devotional music and spiritual connection.
On May 23, 2026, Namaste Burnaby will present “Bhajans & Kirtan Night in Burnaby” – an evening dedicated purely to devotional singing, chanting, and community participation.
Unlike the clubbing-style format, this event will be a peaceful and spiritual musical gathering, where attendees can come together to sing bhajans, participate in kirtan, and enjoy the uplifting energy of devotional music.
The event is being organized in association with The Art of Living and supported by the India Cultural Association (ICA) of Vancouver.
A Growing Devotional Music Movement
The increasing popularity of these events reflects a larger trend: people are seeking spiritual connection, music, and community experiences that bring them together.
Whether through energetic Bhajan Clubbing gatherings or serene Bhajan and Kirtan evenings, Metro Vancouver’s Indian community now has more opportunities than ever to come together through devotional music.
