India Cultural Association (ICA) Of Vancouver has become a Beacon of Bharatiya Arts & Culture in Metro Vancouver. Since its inception ICA Vancouver has been working towards promoting of Indian Cultural Heritage in Metro Vancouver.

India Cultural Association (ICA) of Vancouver is a registered not-for-profit society which represents East Indian (Bharatiya) community in Vancouver area at large and organizes various social & cultural activities/events throughout the year.
Cultural Showcases and Festivals:
At the heart of the association’s success lies its commitment to organizing spectacular cultural showcases and festivals.
Year after year, the association brings together talented local artists and performers and has organized events from Indian festival celebrations to classical dance & music recitals.




Origins and Vision:
Founded by Neeraj Kumar in 2017 with a vision to fill the gap and organize the events for larger Indian diaspora community in Metro Vancouver, this association emerged from a desire to share the beauty and depth of Indian (Bharatiya) arts and culture with the residents of Metro Vancouver. The founder aims to make an Indian Community Centre in Metro Vancouver in future.

Community Engagement:
An essential aspect of the association’s success is its strong emphasis on community engagement. Through partnerships with local organizations, collaborative efforts, , it has woven itself into the fabric of Vancouver’s diverse Indian communities that represent different states of India. Their recent collaborative effort Sangeet Nritya Sajeevana was perfect example which was organized jointly by ICA Vancouver, Marathi Society of BC (MSBC), and Neeraja Aptikar Kalasadhana.

The association’s events not only celebrate Indian culture but also serve as opportunities for Indian diaspora in Vancouver to connect with each other. By fostering connections and building bridges, it has become a catalyst for a more interconnected and harmonious society.
