Jugpreet Bajwa, a talented singer will mesmerize all the audience this month in his concert Shaame-E-Mehfil on 31st March, 2023 at Riverside Signature Banquet Hall in Surrey.
Jugpreet Bajwa who is also a die-hard hockey fan, is a fan-fave anthem singer at Canucks games. He has been a frequent guest anthem singer at Rogers Arena including a nationally televised Canucks-Leafs matchup March 4, on Hockey Night in Canada.
This 28 year old singer who lost his eye sight at a very young age of six months due to a type of eye cancer, retinoblastoma, has never let his loss of eyesight silence him. He has been passionate about music and singing from a very tender age. His first public performance was singing “O Canada” in Squamish at the age of 6. Bajwa said in an interview that he feels like music is his purpose of life, and that through music he can communicate to others around him and encourage them that, anything is possible.
Jugpreet Bajwa also rose to fame when he was placed third position in a very popular Indian television show-contest of Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 2016. His talent was seen and his singing appreciated by a global audience. He was the first Canadian, non-resident Indian to reach that milestone. Many accolades soon followed, including a letter by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau who congratulated him for his “hard work and immense talent.’ PM Trudeau in his letter added “perhaps your greatest contribution is your dedication to shaping a better world around you through charity and teaching. This generosity truly embodies what it means to be Canadian.”

Jugpreet Bajwa grew up in a family where musical evenings, karaoke singing, and exposure to a range of variety of music happened effortlessly. His parents always encouraged him to sing and perform from a very young age.
