World Hindi Day 2024 was celebrated by the Consulate General of India, Vancouver on January 10, 2024 at Fraserview Banquet Hall, Vancouver with the association of local Hindi loving organizations & groups.
CGI Vancouver Shri Manish & Shri Surjeet Singh, Consul (Education & Culture) gave speeches to promote Hindi. Author Harish Masand & renowned radio announcer Nutan Thakur were the Emcees of the event. Anil Kumar & famous local vocalist Neeraja Aptikar were among the participants from Indian Cultural Association of Vancouver (ICA Vancouver).
India’s Foreign Ministry and all Indian missions and centers celebrate 10th January as विश्व हिन्दी दिवस (World Hindi Day) every year outside India in the view of continuously raising awareness for Hindi internationally. Within India 14th September is celebrated as “Hindi Diwas”.
