On Tuesday, September 22, Burnaby will come together for a special Bhakti Concert for Nepal, presented by ICA Vancouver at Burnaby Hall, Theatre.
This will not be just another music concert. It will be an evening to slow down, connect with the community and experience the peaceful energy of Bhajans, Kirtan, breathwork, devotional music and collective chanting in a theatre.
The evening will begin with Vasundhara & Friends, bringing together breathwork, Bhajans and devotional music. It will be a gentle and peaceful start, giving everyone a chance to settle in and experience Bhakti through breath and music.
The second part of the evening will feature Priyesh Dhoolab & Friends, with Kirtan, Hanuman Chalisa and collective chanting. This part will invite everyone to participate, sing together and experience the uplifting energy that is created when a room full of people chants and prays together.

Most importantly, the evening has a purpose. The community will gather in solidarity with the people of Nepal — remembering the lives lost, praying for those still missing and sending hope and positive energy to the families affected by the floods. Net proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Government of Nepal Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
Come with your family and friends. You don’t need to be a regular Kirtan or Bhajan attendee. Simply come with an open heart and be part of an evening of faith, music, hope and community.
