DESCRIPTION:City of Port Coquitlam (PoCo) having its first culturally focused and inclusive Diwali Celebration on November 4\, 2023. \nIt is a day long traditionally representative extravaganza of activities for KIDS & SENIORS\, dance workshops for everybody and beautiful musical\, instrumental and cultural performances\, standing exhibits on Indian history and saree parades. The organizers want to show Port Coquitlam how rich and vibrant our celebrations are have an event which will allow ALL members of the community to come and experience the beauty and wonder of a traditional Indian Diwali. \nIt is going to be a free event for the public at the superb new PoCo Community Centre with three spaces dedicated to the event – the gym court\, Mabbett Hall and the Wilson Lounge.
