Balancing motherhood, career, and a pageant
Lower Mainland, BC: Ramya Vinod, a loving mother of two and a physiotherapist specializing in women’s needs, has recently become an inspiration to women across the country. She placed as second runner up in the My Dream TV USA 2023 competition held in Seattle, Washington, winning the title of Mrs. International Elite 2nd runner up and being crowned by the iconic Mrs. Diana Hayden, winner of Miss World 1997.
Ramya’s journey to success was not easy, as she had to balance her career, motherhood, and training for the event. But her unwavering determination, hard work, and support from her family and friends enabled her to make it to the finals of the competition.
Beyond her title as second runner up, Ramya is a fantastic role model for her community. She has connected thousands of women through her close-knit social media forums, dedicating her time to helping women with their needs – be it physiotherapy, or social connections. Her passion for bringing people together and helping them be their best has earned her respect and admiration.
When asked about her experience, Ramya beamed with joy and said, “I have always believed that any competition is not against others but against our own fears. I find the strength to have faith in myself, overcome my doubts, and trust my instincts. We all have our fears and insecurities, but we also have the power to overcome them and live our dreams to the fullest. I encourage both men and women to believe in themselves, chase their dreams, and pursue their aspirations with all their heart. With hard work, determination, and a strong support system, anything is possible. Let’s lift each other up and empower one another to be the best versions of ourselves.”
